The house was comfortable and cosy. The kitchen was fully fitted.

We even saw the northern lights from the windows!

 This appeared to be a remodeled family farmhouse that was very nicely updated. The bath was huge and had a beautiful walk in shower. We had two large bedrooms with quite comfortable beds. The kitchen was large, modern and well furnished. The living room/dining combination was roomy and quite comfortable and homey. The house looked out to grazing land and farm buildings with sheep wondering the property.

We had the double room/cabin with mountain view. It was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed (incl a small kitchenette). Also the bathroom was great.

It is a little remote, but that was exactly what we were after. The view is great and we really enjoyed the quiet and our stay in general.

 We stayed here two separate nights (first in the separate cabin, second, after one more day in the Westfjords, in the house). This is very authentic place by location and surrounding. We lived in the countryside, where was very quiet and a lot of sheeps and horses on fields near by. Separate cabin has everything you need for a comfy stay: mini kitchen, shower and very nice relaxing bed. The main house supposed to have shared kitchen and toilet but owners decided allow to book this place only for one customer or group of friends due to coronavirus situation and health security. This is very nice and we impressed how owners care about customers safety! The house is big and most enjoyable place with huge bathroom, equipped kitchen and dinning room. Highly recommend this place!

P.S. Big thanks to the owners with their service and help in our first night here. We booked another hotel in advance but in reality it was abandoned (be aware of Hotel Ljosaland! It's desserted!) and we were in panic trying to find accommodation in the late evening. Luckily we called to Ravencliff Lodge and they gave us accommodation in the cabin. Thanks a lot, Soffia and Thorsteinn!
